Professional Profile
Personal Coaching
As a personal coach I have worked with complex personal issues including depression, family dysfunction, guilt and many other issues such as surviving divorce, also grief, loss and anger. Over the years I have worked a variety of jobs assisting people, beginning with a job out of college as a Social Worker, a Case Manager and a Crisis Counselor. In these roles I worked with the homeless and street people of Seattle as well as the low income, disenfranchised and immigration populations.... From there I went onto becoming a Medical Social Worker and Discharge Planner where I worked with the ill, the injured, the disabled, those terminal and ALWAYS with their family members...More recently I have worked in higher education as a Peer Counselor. WHY a Personal Life Coach??
you may ask?
I have worked with young and old, ill and healthy, rich and poor, all ethnic and socio-economic groups. And the emotional and spiritual needs are the same...
We all need to be heard/understood, validated, and connected. After all the places I've been and after all the work experience and exposure I've had, I have found my calling.
